Our client is a leading supplier of laboratory chemicals, standards, reagents, consumables and instrumentation across many sectors in Ireland. They specialise in equipment & consumables for R&D, life sciences, quality control, process measurement & environmental monitoring across the Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices research, Food and Beverage, Chemical industries and Education Sectors. They are currently seeking an Internal Product Specialist (Brand Manager) to deal with customers within their already strong client base.

Role/Responsibilities:
• Reporting to Head of Sales
• To be a strong link for the customers from a Brand Management perspective
• Growing customer relationships alongside the Area Business Managers
• Partnering with the Sales force to maintain and expand customer base
• Maintaining high service levels with existing customers
• Tender management
• Interacting and coordinate with the sales specialists and all staff members working on the same accounts
• Reaching the targets and goals set for this role
• Compiling and analysing figures
• Collecting customer feedback and market research
• Keeping up to date with product knowledge and competitors
• Attend meetings as and when required; Customer visits once every 2 weeks.

Education/Qualifications:
• Science degree in Microbiology/Chemistry/Biology or related subject
• At least 1 years’ Marketing/Brand Management experience in related industry
• Ability to proficiently use industry standard IT systems (e.g. Microsoft Office, Email, Internet, etc)
• Ability to cope with pressure and to work to strict deadlines, prioritise workload, with excellent organisational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team as well as to work without direct supervision and use initiative
• Excellent administrative skills; thorough and accurate and able to work with attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• An understanding of confidentiality and ability to work effectively within this
• Prepared to travel independently (approx. once a fortnight)
